Company
Mission
For 4 generations, we have been producing extra virgin olive oil, inspiring pleasant and unforgettable moments with its unmistakable flavor.
The History
Welcome to the Ever-Green World of Francesco Cillo
Our story began in 1931 in a village immersed in the silence of nature and surrounded by olive trees that develop their quality thanks to the unique microclimate of the region. Today, Francesco Cillo is the representative image of a perfectly balanced and unspoiled territory—an enchanting testament to a place that has remained unchanged over time.
An ancient land and the privilege of being here
Our olive trees grow on hilly terrain with millennia-old origins, composed of clayey, azure sands typical of Lucania (Basilicata), where traces of olive cultivation dating back to the 6th century BC have been found.
Our sustainable commitment
for a better future
We employ innovative extraction methods and use renewable energy for the entire production process. By promoting sustainable development, we contribute to the protection of our planet.
Philosophy
The power of nature
Respecting the natural beauty of the land and belonging to a deeply rooted culture are the principles upon which our philosophy is based. We preserve the genetic diversity of cultivars and the wealth of knowledge surrounding their use and conservation, which are inextricably linked to tradition.
